Electrical decorations

Confirm voltage, power source and indoor or outdoor suitability. Keep connections dry as instructed and stop using damaged items. Secure cables away from walking routes.

Pets and costumes

Check fit and freedom of movement. Supervise pets, keep small parts out of reach and remove a costume if it causes distress.

Displays and lighting

Keep exits clear and decorations away from flames and heat. Never assume an item is flame-resistant or waterproof without verified documentation.
